SETH Adopted!!!

Seth who is a stray originally turned into a shelter in Aurora, ON, was transported by a volunteer from Toronto to Montreal. He is a large, good-looking, Black & Tan 2 year old neutered male. Seth spent his first night in home with 3 other dogs, several cats and lots of people. so we know he is a social dog! He responds to a few basic commands, is housebroken, crate trained and good in a car.

Almost sounds too good to be true, doesn't he?

LIANA

This charming young lady is Liana, a 3 year old Black & Tan German Shepherd. She was surrendered by her owners to the local pound because she had too much energy! Judging from her slightly plump appearance, "too much energy" probably meant "too much food and not enough exercise". Liana is very affectionate and playful and will make a lively companion for an active family. More on her as we get to know her.

JUNEAU Adopted!!!

Hi folks,

I'm Juneau, at least that's my name here at Blue Ribbon. Someone found me running loose and I was brought here so they can find me a home where I will be loved so much, they'll never let me get lost. If I spoke English I could tell you all about where I come from, but I only speak DOG! On the other hand I have no problem leaning into people to show them how much I love them and I kiss them at every opportunity.

I'm a bit skinny right now and probably lived outside because the nice people here tell me I am losing a ton of fur out of my very thick coat. They also tell me I have loads of energy and no manners, so I guess I'll have to go to school. On the plus side, I appear to be housebroken and I am only about 12 months old and am very willing to learn.

My name is Jeffrey and don't you think I'm just gorgeous! That nice leather collar I am wearing came with me, so even though I was a stray, I probably belonged to someone. No one knows for sure, but they are guessing I am about 2 years old. I came to Blue Ribbon at the same time as Juneau and I too am looking for the perfect family to live with and cherish. I like people and dogs and I'm a really good boy in my crate, although the people who take care of me say I will make a great family guardian because I bark really loud to warn everyone whenever someone comes to the door! Just doing my job, you know.

JOSIE Adopted!!!!!!!

My name is Josie.

The good people at Blue Ribbon took me out of a pound in January. My family no longer wanted me and just dumped me there. They love me here and treat me really well-I've put on weight and my fur is really beautiful and glossy now- but I've been here such a long time...

I love people and I'm dying to have a whole family of my own to love forever. I do like some dogs but I would really prefer to have you all to myself. My previous family had cats I did not get along with at all. Their children were not always nice to me, so I am suspicious of little people and would be happier if there were only grown-ups to live with.

I am very curious and really enjoy my walks since I can enjoy all the new sights, sounds and smells aroung me. I am only 4 years old and have plenty of energy and would love to go hiking, running, boating, anything for exercise! I am in very good shape. If you are the doggy sport kind, I would really like to try tracking.

All my German Shepherd friends who were here when I arrived have left with their families and I am still here with new dogs coming and going all the time. I am still waiting for my turn...please come and love me soon.
