FLYNN

This gorgeous face belongs to
Flynn, a 1 year old(approx) male found as a stray.
Flynn is full of the energy of youth and is always
up for the next game or activity. He is wonderful
with people but like all big dogs, will need close
supervision around children to make sure he doesn't
know them over.
Dog parks and doggy friends will
be out of the question for him since he doesn't
like other animals at all. His adoptive family will
need to take him to school and teach him some house
manners after which he will make a wonderful, loving
family pet.
TYKE

Tyke is a good-looking 6 year
old male German Shepherd. He was left 'temporarily'
with a family while his owner travelled. The owner
never came back.
Tyke is used to children and
is good with them, has a good temperament and is
housebroken and crate trained. He has very good
basic training and responds well to all commands.
He is occasionally reactive to dogs on leash but
plays well with many. He is NOT fond of cats!!!
His coat is in very poor condition
probably due to bad nutrition, but once he has had
good food for a while, he will be a gorgeous Black
& Red fluffy coated dog.
JAID

Our lovely Jaid is back. Her
adopter returned her because Jaid has Exocrine Pancreatic
Insufficiency, an illness that requires her to have
the proper enzymes added to her food in order for
her to be able to assimilate the nutrition. Jaid
is now getting the right enzymes and will soon be
stabilized and back to her normal weight.
This is the second home Jaid
has lost just because she needs special enzymes.
She is a very pretty Black & Red 7 year old
female with a beautiful long tail. She is housebroken,
good with dogs and cats, used to horses and wonderful
with people.
Is there someone out there willing
to give this lovely lady the permanent home she
deserves?
STEELER

Our Steeler is back. His adopters
brought him back because they were never able to
stop his playful puppy nipping. What a big bundle
of love Steeler is-just waiting to steal your heart.
Although he is 12 months old, he is still very much
a puppy with a lot of puppy behaviors. A little
training, some guidance and consistency is all this
exuberant dog needs to become the perfect family
pet.
RILEY Adopted!!!

Hi folks,
My name is Riley and I'm about
3 years old-can't say for sure since I've been moved
around a bit in my life. I'm looking for that elusive
family or person who will adopt me and keep me forever.
I love all people but would lavish adoration on
a family of my own. I'm a big energetic boy, so
it might be better if I lived with adults only or
older children.
Dog parks are out of the question
for me since I don't like other animals at all!
That includes both dogs and cats. With a bit of
training and some guidance, I can learn to walk
politely on leash and ignore other dogs walking
by. Speaking of training, could you take me to doggy
school please?
Please call to meet me soon.
JACKIE Adopted!!!

Meet Jackie. She is a lovely
2 1/2 year old Black & Tan girl. Jackie was
given up by her family because she doesn't like
other dogs. Like many German Shepherds, she is territorial
and does not like dogs in her space although any
human is more than OK with her. She has an affectionate
nature and enjoys attention.
Jackie will need a home that
has good German Shepherd savvy and where she will
be the only pet. She has a calm nature and will
be a joy to have around for some lucky family.
JENNY Adopted!!!

Pretty and Petite describes little
Jenny. She is a 16 month old Black & Tan female,
although mostly black at the moment. She is a lively
dog who although is a bit shy when first approached,
warms up quickly and loves to leap on people to
greet them. She'll need some education!!! She gets
along with dogs and cats and even children, although
any interaction with little ones would have to supervised
so that she didn't knock them over in her excitement
to play.
If you think Jenny is the dog
for you, give us a call.
UPDATE: Jenny has turned out
to be quite the alarm barker and has an amazingly
loud, deep bark for such a little girl! We have
also discovered that she is a manic retriever and
will fetch a ball forever.
NARA Adopted!!!

Nara's picture shows her as a
bit worried but that is getting better. She is extremely
pretty and about 12 months old. She is shy but learning
quickly about the world and her confidence is increasing
daily. She is a sweet dog. UPDATE: Nara is coming
out of her shell and starting to ask for attention
and wag her tail when we pet her!
NELL Adopted!!!

Nell is approximately 3-4 years
old and has definitely been bred. She is a good
sized female and seems to possibly have been a house
dog at some point since she knows about collars
and leashes and makes attachment to people very
quickly. She is a bit vocal but is learning to be
quiet on command. She has a calm personality but
can be quite the guard dog! Nell will do best in
a quiet family where someone is home most of the
time.
RANI Adopted!!!

Rani
is a senior lady given up by her family. She
is nine years old and has lived through a lot in
the last few months. She lost her favorite
human to illness and her home life was completely
changed. She spent a lot of time alone because
of work schedules and even had to be kenneled on
a regular basis.
Her
surviving owner tried for a few months to find a
way to keep her but in the end decided that Rani
deserved a home where she would have company and
regular walks and lots of attention.
Rani
is a large Black and Red girl, she is housebroken,
used to children but probably not good with cats.
She is protective of her home and property but generally
good with people.
Another
elderly lady who needs a special home
UPDATE: Rani has relaxed a good
bit since coming to us and is calmer about life
in general. She is however, still waiting for that
special someone or family that will give her a loving
home for the years she has left. She is an affectionate
girl with the people she knows and very alert and
interested in her surroundings both indoors and
outdoor.
