Lise with Kenya & Striker	Elizabeth with Musk & Rhea

Elizabeth Baribault and Lise Hargrave are dog trainers with over fifteen years of experience in training their own dogs and teaching obedience classes for both pet owners and competition handlers. Lise shares her life with her husband Ross and their two dogs, and Elizabeth shares hers with three German Shepherds named Musk, Rhea and True.

German Shepherds being a favorite breed of both Elizabeth and Lise and realizing that there was no German Shepherd rescue in Quebec, they decided to launch Blue Ribbon German Shepherd Rescue. Blue Ribbon rescues purebred German Shepherds only.

Lise and Elizabeth's training experience allows them to evaluate all rescues for temperament, personality and adaptability and thus ensures the best possible match with adopters. All rescued German Shepherds are vet-checked and spayed or neutered as needed. They are given minimal or no vaccinations and are fed a premium quality kibble made with human-grade ingredients and adopters are encouraged to do the same. Good food helps rescued Shepherds that come from difficult situations to recover their strength and health.
