We make dog training fun for both dog and owner

GROUP CLASSES:

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and pre-registration with full payment is required.

Classess designed to train a well-behaved family pet:
One class per week for 8 weeks - $260. Scroll down to register below or use this form and mail with a cheque.

  • Puppy Playschool (For all puppies of 8 weeks to 5 months old)

  • Companion Rookie (Basic training for dogs at least 5 months old as well as graduates of Puppy Playschool)

  • Companion Pro (Off-leash training for graduates of Companion Rookie)

Classes to stimulate physical and mental acuity or to prepare for competition:
One class per week for 8 weeks - $160. Scroll down to register.
NOTE: Not all classes are available at each training session.

Our classes are designed to train well-mannered, attentive and compliant pet dogs. Graduates of our Companion Pro class have the skills to embark on careers in many dog sports or activities should the handler be motivated to do so! Please visit our FAQ page for answers to frequent questions.
 
If you need help before the classes begin we offer a special price of $60 for a 1-hour private session if you have registered for a group class.

  • ALL CANCELLATIONS BEFORE THE START OF CLASSES WILL INCUR A $20 ADMINISTRATION FEE.

PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS

• For behavioral problems of all kinds (housebreaking, pulling on the leash, nipping, biting, jumping, aggression, etc.).
• Other dog-related issues such as finding the right dog for you and your family.
• Preparing for a new puppy or the addition of an older dog to the household.

Available with an appointment Mondays thru Thursdays between 10 a.m. & 4 p.m. only.

Cost: $85 per hour. Special price of $60 for students registered in our classes.

Puppy Playschool

For puppies 2 to 5 months old. Socialization, basic manners and confidence games. Puppies develop life skills and confidence in their owners. Avoid unwanted behaviors by starting your puppy's training immediately. Our gentle methods are effective with puppies as young as 8 weeks old.

Companion Rookie

Basic training for dogs 5 months and older. Life skills and essential manners such as coming when called, not pulling on the leash and not jumping on people. Practical and effective training to make your dog a well-behaved member of your family.

Companion Pro

More advanced obedience training skills including off-leash work, attention games and distraction training for dogs who have graduated from Companion Rookie.

NOTE: If you are not a graduate of a Blue Ribbon Companion Rookie class, you and your dog must first be evaluated to be sure you are ready for this class. Evaluations are offered Mondays thru Thursdays from 11am to 4pm, with an appointment.

Agility

Introduction to this fun sport done with focus on both technique and safety. Dog must have completed Companion Pro or equivalent and be under control when off-leash.
Agility 1: Beginners - Must have completed Companion Pro at Blue Ribbon.
Agility 2: Must have completed Agility 1 and moved up by instructor.
Agility 3: Must have completed Agility 2 and moved up by instructor.

NOTE: All agility students are asked to help with the setup and take-down of equipment. Thank you.
